1. Site walk
We measure rooms, evaluate exterior wall access, plan line-set routing, and check your electrical panel capacity.
2. Equipment & rebate plan
We pick the right tonnage and head style, then design the install to qualify for the maximum Mass Save rebate.
3. Install
Outdoor unit mounted on isolation pad. Line set vacuum-pulled and triple-evacuated. Charged to spec. Heads commissioned per zone.
4. Commissioning + rebate
Static pressure (on ducted heads), temp splits, refrigerant verification. We file the Mass Save paperwork on your behalf.

How loud are mini-splits?
Indoor heads run 19–35 dB on low — quieter than a refrigerator. Outdoor units are 50–60 dB, similar to a quiet conversation.
Can a mini-split heat my whole house in winter?
Yes, if properly sized. Cold-climate units (Mitsubishi Hyper-Heat) maintain capacity at 5°F. Most Massachusetts homes use a multi-zone system or supplement with a small backup for the coldest hours.
What's the rebate for mini-splits?
Mass Save rebates are tier-based — generous per-ton rebates on cold-climate equipment, with whole-home heat-pump installs earning the maximum. Single-zone bedroom systems still qualify for meaningful rebates.
How long does install take?
1-zone: 1 day. 2–4 zone: 1–2 days. 5+ zones: 2–3 days. We give you a firm schedule before we start.
